About this file
This is a Scope of Work document for the National Park Service Intermountain Region outlining the replacement of electrical components and exposed fuel line infrastructure at Ok-a-Beh Marina in Bighorn Canyon National Recreation Area, located in Fort Smith, Montana. The project (PMIS 308539) addresses repeated failures and safety concerns with the existing fuel system that serves as the only fueling capability on Bighorn Reservoir.
The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, and tools necessary to complete the following primary tasks: mobilization and coordination with the NPS Project Manager and Crow Tribe concession operator; removal and decommissioning of existing electrical components and approximately 75 linear feet of flexible fuel piping; installation of new fuel system electrical components including an Automatic Tank Gauge (ATG), leak detection probe, remote communication unit, and electrical disconnect sleeve; installation of approximately 130 linear feet of marina-grade, UL-listed fuel piping with two fuel line disconnects; and testing and commissioning of all systems for proper functionality. Deliverables include a fully operational fuel system with installed components, successful system testing and commissioning, and final NPS acceptance. All work must comply with National Park Service standards, OSHA requirements, applicable federal and state electrical and fuel system codes, manufacturer specifications, and DOI safety and environmental requirements. Work scheduling shall minimize disruption to marina operations and visitor access, with site restoration to original or improved condition required upon completion.
