About this file

This Attachment 1 Scope of Work document is from Great Falls College Montana State University (MSU) soliciting bids for exclusive vending and bottling rights for soft drink products across campus facilities. The contract seeks a beverage provider to supply a comprehensive range of bottled, canned, and fountain beverages, excluding hot beverages, dairy, and alcoholic products. The contractor will be responsible for providing 5-10 vending machines, beverage coolers, ice barrels, fountain dispensers, and related equipment at no cost to the college. Delivery times are restricted to Monday-Friday between 7:30-11am and 1-5pm, with specific requirements for vehicle access, equipment maintenance, and product inventory management.

The pricing structure includes a 38% commission on cash collected from vending machines, with an annual estimated product volume outlined in a detailed market basket listing. The contractor must provide 6-8 post-mix product flavors and will be evaluated based on the total cost of market basket items and donation value. The contract emphasizes state-of-the-art equipment that remains current throughout the contract term, with equipment placement and updates mutually determined between the contractor and college. The exclusive contract allows flexibility for the college to bring in other beverage companies for special events or non-competing beverage types, ensuring the college maintains operational autonomy while securing a primary beverage service provider.
