About this file
This memorandum from the United States Space Force details salient characteristics for a Flyaway Terminal Antenna procurement. The required antenna must be a traditional SATCOM terminal with WGS certification, featuring a dish size between 1.2M and 2.4M, capable of transmitting and receiving in X & Ka Band with potential future expansion to C and Ku bands. Additional key requirements include transportability, compatibility with 120v-240v power inputs at 50-60hz frequencies, system-specific tools, hard waterproof carrying cases, a minimum 1-year warranty, operational training, and dedicated customer support.
The associated federal contract opportunity (Solicitation Number FA251725Q0089) is a 100% small business set-aside for one Flyaway SATCOM Terminal Antenna at Peterson Space Force Base in Colorado. The contract will be a firm-fixed price purchase order under NAICS code 334220, with offerors required to maintain active SAM registration. Solicitation questions are due by 1 August 2025, and final quotes must be submitted via email to SrA Kyle Howard by 13 August 2025 at 2:00 PM MDT. Contractors must closely follow all attachment instructions, with failure to comply potentially rendering them ineligible for award.
