About this file
This is a salient characteristics document outlining the technical specifications and requirements for a Dynamic Waterjet Cutting Head Upgrade for the Kaiserslautern Army Depot in Germany.
The procurement consists of two line items: (1) a Dynamic Waterjet Cutting Head Assembly rated for minimum operating pressure of 60,000 PSI, capable of active taper control and bevel cutting, compatible with M200-series waterjet systems, and including all mechanical components, high-pressure tubing, fasteners, and splash containment systems; and (2) an integrated CAD/CAM software suite with perpetual, non-expiring single-user license that supports 2D and 3D cutting path creation, simulation, and automatic taper compensation calculations. All components must be brand new and CE compliant with EC Declaration of Conformity documentation. The supplier is responsible for complete installation and commissioning at the delivery address of Ludwigshafener Strasse 31, Building 2233, 67657 Kaiserslautern, Germany. The contractor must provide comprehensive on-site training lasting a minimum of four days covering software operation and advanced dynamic cutting techniques for both operators and maintenance personnel. Two complete sets of operation and maintenance manuals in English and German are required, along with a minimum 12-month warranty from final acceptance. The technical point of contact is Markus Feth at markus.feth.ln@army.mil or CIV (0611) 143 547-0011.
