About this file
This document is a Salient Characteristics specification for Air Travel Cases, issued by the Department of the Air Force Pacific Air Forces for a solicitation at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER), Alaska. The requirement is for nine (9) custom plastic air travel cases designed to store over $4M worth of aircraft spare parts, with precise dimensional specifications: exterior maximum dimensions of 27.5"L x 19.5"W x 28"H and interior minimum dimensions of 25.5"L x 17.5"W x 26"H. The cases will be used on off-station flights to support resolving non-flyable aircraft issues.
The solicitation (FA500025Q0065) requires vendors to submit quotes with FOB destination pricing and a 75-day lead time after receipt of order. Potential suppliers must submit any questions to Cyrena Chairvolotti and SSgt Tulay Urganci by 4:00 PM EST on 19 September 2025. While a Hardigg Single-Lid Case is referenced as an example, the government is not specifically requesting that brand. Vendors are invited to submit additional documentation along with their price schedule to meet the detailed case specifications.
