About this file
This document is an attachment detailing technical specifications for Sat-Lite LNA, LNB, and LNB Controllers for a federal contract opportunity. The document is divided into three sections covering specific technical requirements across multiple frequency bands and components. CLIN 0001 describes LNB Controllers with a 19" chassis supporting up to 17 hot-swappable modules, featuring redundant power supplies, web browser interface, and Ethernet connectivity. CLIN 0002 outlines feed requirements for a Sat-Lite Agilis 2431 Motorized Flyaway Antenna, specifying compatibility across six frequency bands including Ku-band, C-band, S-band, X-band, and Ka-band with linear and circular polarization options. The final section provides detailed technical specifications for Low Noise Blocks (LNBs) and Low Noise Amplifiers (LNAs), defining minimum receive frequency ranges, external reference input requirements, and specific input types for each frequency band.
The associated federal contract opportunity (Solicitation 21CONSSATLITE) is a 100% small business set-aside for LNB Controllers and Sat Lite Components at Peterson Space Force Base in Colorado. The contract will be a firm-fixed price purchase order under NAICS code 334220, with a small business size standard of 1,250 employees. Key dates include a question submission deadline of 30 July 2025 at 12:00 PM MST and an offer submission deadline of 6 August 2025 at 2:00 PM MDT. Offerors must maintain active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. The contract's points of contact are Contract Specialist Aaron Smith and Contracting Officer TSgt Patrick Berger from the Department of the Air Force Space Command.

Sat-Lite LNA, LNB, LNB CONTROLLERS
CLIN 0001 LNB Controllers: Salient Characteristics
1. 19” chassis with up to 17 slots for interchangeable hot swap modules. The chassis incorporates a field replaceable internal 10MHz reference source and distribution module.
Field replaceable high-resolution color touchscreen HMI on the front panel (hot-swappable from the front). Field replaceable CPU (hot-swappable from the front). Dual redundant PSUs hot-swappable from the front. Web-browser interface, Ethernet via RJ45, and SNMP V2/V3
2. External 10MHz reference feed in cards for use with 1U chassis, use in one of the chassis slots. 50 ohm SMA Connectors
3. External 10MHz reference feed in cards for use with 1U chassis, use in one of the chassis slots. 50 ohm SMA Connectors
4. 4 x 4 distributive matrix module occupying no more than 4 slots of a 1U chassis. The unit operates over a frequency range of 500-3150 MHz. Up to 4 of these may be fitted into a 1U chassis. Fitted with SMA 50 ohm RF connectors.
5. High Power LNB DC/10MHz injector module. Output frequencies in extended L-band (850- 2450 MHz) with 0/12 to 24V DC, up to 750mA. Local & remote control provided by the modular chassis and monitoring of LNB current and RF input power. Supplied with 50 Ohm SMA input connectors and 50 Ohm SMA output connectors.
CLIN 0002 Sat-Lite Feeds: Salient Characteristics 1.) Must be physically compatible with Sat-Lite Agilis 2431 Motorized Flyaway Antenna.
2.) Frequency band support is listed below in a prioritized list with minimum frequency ranges
(greater frequency range will be given preference). Preference will also be given to the vendor who can support a greater number of the following frequency bands at lowest cost to the government. Finally, transmit capability is not a requirement, though transmit capability will not be inherently detrimental to bids. Plain language: We don’t need it, but we won’t be sad if it’s there.
a. Ku-band linear polarization
i. 2 Rx port 10.7-12.75 GHz, motorized polarization drive, +- 90 degrees of polarization variability
ii. Physically compatible LNB, description below.
iii. Quantity: 2
b. C-band circular polarization
i. 2 Rx: 3.4-4.8 GHz
ii. Physically compatible LNB, description below.
iii. Quantity: 2
c. S-band circular polarization
i. 2 Rx port, approximately 2-2.5 GHz, with type-N interface.
ii. Physically compatible LNA, description below.
iii. Quantity: 1
d. X-band circular polarization
i. 2 Rx ports, 7.25-7.75 GHz
