About this file
The document is an attachment detailing technical specifications for Sat-Lite LNA, LNB, and LNB Controllers for a federal solicitation. The file covers three primary Contract Line Items (CLINs): CLIN 0001 for LNB Controllers, CLIN 0002 for Sat-Lite Feeds, and a section on LNBs and LNAs. The LNB Controllers require a 19" chassis with up to 17 hot-swappable slots, internal reference source, touchscreen HMI, redundant power supplies, and web-browser interface. The Sat-Lite Feeds specification demands compatibility with a Sat-Lite Agilis 2431 Motorized Flyaway Antenna and supports multiple frequency bands including Ku-band (linear and circular), C-band, S-band, X-band, and Ka-band, with specific requirements for receive ports, polarization, and quantities.
The technical specifications provide detailed requirements for Low Noise Blocks (LNBs) and Low Noise Amplifiers (LNAs) across different frequency ranges, including minimum receive frequency ranges, external 10 MHz reference inputs, and specific quantities for each band. The LNBs and LNAs must be physically compatible with the previously described feeds. Quantities vary by band, with 4 LNBs for Ku-band, C-band, and X-band, 2 LNBs for Ka-band, and 1 LNA for S-band. The document emphasizes preference for wider frequency ranges and includes specific technical parameters such as input types, gain requirements, and polarization characteristics.

Sat-Lite LNA, LNB, LNB CONTROLLERS
CLIN 0001 LNB Controllers: Salient Characteristics
1. 19” chassis with up to 17 slots for interchangeable hot swap modules. The chassis incorporates a field replaceable internal 10MHz reference source and distribution module.
Field replaceable high-resolution color touchscreen HMI on the front panel (hot-swappable from the front). Field replaceable CPU (hot-swappable from the front). Dual redundant PSUs hot-swappable from the front. Web-browser interface, Ethernet via RJ45, and SNMP V2/V3. QTY 6
2. External 10MHz reference feed in cards for use with 1U chassis, use in one of the chassis slots. 50 ohm SMA Connectors. QTY 6
3. 4 x 4 distributive matrix module occupying no more than 4 slots of a 1U chassis. The unit operates over a frequency range of 500-3150 MHz. Up to 4 of these may be fitted into a 1U chassis. Fitted with SMA 50 ohm RF connectors. QTY 6
4. High Power LNB DC/10MHz injector module. Output frequencies in extended L-band (850-
2450 MHz) with 0/12 to 24V DC, up to 750mA, and a selectable 22Khz tone. Local & remote control provided by the modular chassis and monitoring of LNB current and RF input power. Supplied with 50 Ohm SMA input connectors and 50 Ohm SMA output connectors. QTY 48
CLIN 0002 Sat-Lite Feeds: Salient Characteristics 1.) Must be physically compatible with Sat-Lite Agilis 2431 Motorized Flyaway Antenna.
2.) Frequency band support is listed below in a prioritized list with minimum frequency ranges
(greater frequency range will be given preference). Preference will also be given to the vendor who can support a greater number of the following frequency bands at lowest cost to the government. Finally, transmit capability is not a requirement, though transmit capability will not be inherently detrimental to bids. Plain language: We don’t need it, but we won’t be sad if it’s there.
