The project is divided into two Contract Line Items (CLINs): CLIN 001 involves replacing network switches and Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) in Buildings 1, 893, 982, 1156, and 2025, while CLIN 002 requires installing the FireWorks System, including redundant servers, thin clients, and associated networking equipment across multiple buildings.
Key requirements include providing comprehensive documentation, ensuring system compatibility, conducting on-site training for 21 CES Fire Alarm Shop personnel, and meeting stringent safety and environmental regulations. The contractor must have at least 5 years of experience with EST/FireWorks systems, possess NICET certifications, and provide a minimum 2-year parts and labor warranty. The project involves installing dedicated electrical circuits, network configurations with static IP addresses, and compliance with various UFC, OSHA, and Air Force operational standards. The work is to be performed during specific hours (0700-1500) Monday through Friday, with potential restrictions due to mission-critical base operations.
