The contractor must provide comprehensive maintenance for eleven EDS units (Model 11LDS-7500S, 7,500-gallon steam jacketed cook tanks with ancillary equipment) and four TTA units (two Model 48TA-1500-BS and two Model 60TA-3000-BS autoclaves with associated components). Key service requirements include annual system certification of all EDS and TTA units with detailed testing results and safety documentation due within 14 days; annual relief and operating vent filter service by Pall factory authorized technicians including water intrusion testing and filter skid performance evaluation; and 40 hours of on-site operational support plus up to 16 hours of phone support for repairs, programming, and hardware/software updates. The contractor must develop detailed task-specific job plans and checklists for submission to the NBAF Computerized Maintenance Management System (Maximo) prior to commencing work. All work must be completed by qualified PRI (Progressive Recovery, Inc.) technicians or engineers due to the proprietary nature of the equipment.
The contract duration is one base year with four option years. Contractor personnel require Tier 2 background investigation clearance and must be U.S. citizens. All personnel must complete NBAF site security and safety orientation (approximately one hour), comply with site-specific training requirements (minimum two hours), and follow all facility policies, standard operating procedures, and guidelines. Regular work hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays; work outside these hours requires security approval submitted at least five calendar days in advance. Daily reports documenting services rendered, issues identified, and components requiring repair or replacement must be submitted within 24 hours.
