| 1. This spreadsheet is to be used by offerors to provide rates for the various labor categories for this contract. There are five ordering years. |
2. Review the definitions of the various labor categories on the "Definitions" tab.
3. The outyear inflation rates are provided below as a reference when developing the out-year rates for ordering years 2-5.
Year Escalation Rate 2023 Base Rate 2024 3.5% 2025 3.2% 2026 3.1% 2027 3.2%
4. Enter your labor rates in the white cells on the "Labor Totals" tab for the various labor categories. The the total annual maximum will automatically be calculated. Hourly rates for each of the labor categories needs to be entered for all five years.
5. The "Trouble Call" labor categories have hours split between normal rates (75% of total hours) and non-standard rates (25% of total hours) for trouble calls on weekends or holidays for example. Please note this distinction when entering rates for these labor categories.
6. If a potential offeror has a labor category that does not align with the descriptions provided and would like to propose an alternate or additional labor category, that option exists at the bottom of the "Labor Totals" tab. Enter the name of the proposed labor cateogry and corresponding hours. Enter the justification for the proposed substitution in the box below, indicating what labor category in Column A is to be substituted and how the offeror's proposal would meet or exceed the labor category (or categories) in cells A4 - A39.
