GLOBAL SENTINEL VENUE REQUIREMENTS

Phase 1 - GLOBAL SENTINEL 2022 Test Event Venue Requirements

2-3 Consecutive Days in September or October 2021

Requirements Venue shall be a hotel with on-site meeting space to mitigate inclement seasonal weather.

Availability: 2-3 continuous days in Sep or Oct 2021 Venue shall be able to accommodate both events on this requirements document.

Normal Access: 0800-1800 Daily.

Venue shall contain a minimum of 1,000 sq. ft. of contiguous, indoor meeting space.

Venue must be capable of providing a minimum of 20 portable rectangular tables (6’ x 30”).

Venue must be capable of providing a minimum of 20 chairs.

Meeting space shall be easily accessible to all participants during normal hours without security escort.

Meeting space must not employ active or passive measures that would prevent reception of cellular phone signals.

Government retains the right to provide their own Information Technology (IT) hardware, to include wireless networking technology, to support the event.

Government retains the right to bring in their own Audio/Visual (AV) equipment required to support the event.

Convenient access to restroom facilities either in or immediately adjacent to meeting space.

Venue meeting spaces must be environmentally controlled.

Venue shall be capable of providing access to a wired Local Area Network (LAN) supporting a minimum of 150 users with access to an Internet Service Provider (ISP) providing a minimum dedicated bandwidth of 300 Mbps.

Venue shall be capable of providing access to a Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) supporting a minimum of 150 users throughout all leased meeting spaces with access to an Internet Service Provider (ISP) providing a minimum dedicated bandwidth of 100 Mbps.

Baseline Configuration management: Venue for risk reduction testing must be contained, in whole or in part, within the same venue used for Capstone execution in January 2022 and utilize the same network infrastructure provided by the venue.

Venue must account for current COVID restrictions and able to support execution in January based on current CDC guidance for testing, masking, and distancing with expected capacity of 150-200 personnel.

Audio/Visual (AV) equipment shall be provided by the venue. Specifications for the audio/visual equipment can be found in Attachment 2 – Global Sentinel Audio Visual Requirements

Phase 2 - GLOBAL SENTINEL 2022 Capstone Event Venue Requirements

Requirements

Venue shall be a hotel with on-site meeting space to mitigate inclement seasonal weather.

Availability: 01/06/2022-01/21/2022 Venue shall be able to accommodate both events on this requirements document.

Normal Access: 0700-1800 Daily.

Venue shall contain a minimum of 14,000 sq. ft. of contiguous meeting space.

Meeting space shall be partitionable by moveable walls into sections of 4,000 sq. ft. or less.

Venue must be capable of providing a minimum of 120 portable rectangular tables (6’ x 30”).

Venue must be capable of providing a minimum of 280 chairs.

Meeting space shall be easily accessible to all participants during normal hours without security escort.

Meeting space must not employ active or passive measures that would prevent reception of cellular phone signals.

Government retains the right to provide their own Information Technology (IT) hardware, to include wireless networking technology, to support the event.

Government retains the right to bring in their own Audio/Visual (AV) equipment required to support the event.

Convenient access to restroom facilities either in or immediately adjacent to meeting space.

Convenient access to parking supporting a minimum of 50 guests in addition to any participants that are hotel guests.

Venue meeting spaces must be environmentally controlled.

Venue must be located within reasonable commuting distance (approx 10-12 miles), no more than 20-25 minutes from Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado Springs, CO.

Venue will identify minimum guaranteed room availability (approximately 40-60) at the Government per diem rate plus applicable taxes and fees. Rooms in excess of the Government guaranteed amount will be offered at the Government per diem rate on a best effort basis.

Meeting space shall contain or have immediately adjacent, a small conference room capable of seating a minimum of 12 at tables.

Venue shall be capable of providing access to a wired Local Area Network (LAN) supporting a minimum of 150 users with access to an Internet Service Provider (ISP) providing a minimum dedicated bandwidth of 300 Mbps.

Venue shall be capable of providing access to a Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) supporting a minimum of 150 users throughout all leased meeting spaces with access to an Internet Service Provider (ISP) providing a minimum dedicated bandwidth of 100 Mbps.

Contiguous venue space must be able to support separate conferencing and operational floor simulation for multiple space operations centers (SpOC); SpOC up to 100 personnel with/without COVID restrictions; conferencing 40-100 personnel with/without COVID.

Audio/Visual (AV) equipment shall be provided by the venue. Specifications for the audio/visual equipment can be found in Attachment 2 – Global Sentinel Audio Visual Requirements
