About this file
This document is a technical specifications sheet for a specialized response trailer designed to support emergency operations, likely for hazardous material (CBRN) response or similar tactical deployment.
The trailer must not exceed 7 feet wide by 28 feet long by 8 feet high and feature heavy-duty welded construction with an A-Frame drawbar and NATO-compatible 76mm coupling for towing compatibility. The unit requires dual axle configuration supporting a minimum 5.5-tonne design capacity, including suspension raise/lower capability and parking brake systems. The braking system must be commercial-grade with two-line air system, electronic anti-lock braking (ABS), rollover stability protection, load-sensing valve, and spring parking brakes. Electrical capabilities include a comprehensive 24VDC system with full LED lighting and multiple socket compatibility (15-pin, 7-pin normal, 7-pin supplementary, and dedicated ABS), plus dual-voltage interior outlets (110V & 220V) for US and UK equipment, shore-power connection capability, and an onboard generator sustaining minimum 8-hour operations with designated fuel storage.
The trailer must include a minimum of 4 exterior response gear suit-up stations with 100% water-resistant slide-out trays sized to accommodate SCBA packs and CBRN PPE, including specific clearance requirements (two areas 42" × 45" × 25" and one area 42" × 36" × 25"). Retractable external awnings (minimum 20 feet long by 6 feet wide) on both sides must provide weather protection rated for UK wind conditions. The enclosed internal workspace must safely accommodate 3 personnel with a 15-foot long by 3-foot deep workbench for equipment servicing, a minimum 42-inch wide side-door entrance near the front, and designated secure storage and charging areas for batteries, radios, supplies, and map displays. Quotes must include standard commercial warranty information.

Maximum footprint of 7 feet wide x 28 feet long x 8 feet high. (Note: Total length must include the trailer hitch).
Base Assembly Heavy-duty, welded construction (e.g., steel or equivalent durable material) featuring an A-Frame drawbar and a NATO-compatible 76mm coupling to ensure compatibility with existing tow vehicles.
Axle & Suspension
Dual axle configuration capable of supporting a minimum 5.5-tonne design capacity.
Must include a suspension raise/lower device and a parking brake system on the front axle.
Braking System Commercial-grade two-line air system equipped with electronic anti-lock braking (ABS), rollover stability protection, a load-sensing valve, and spring parking brakes.
Electrical System Comprehensive 24VDC electrical system with full LED lighting (including rear light clusters and outline markers) and multiple socket compatibility (15-pin, 7-pin normal, 7-pin supplementary, and dedicated ABS).
Power Generation &
Interior Electrical
Must feature dual-voltage interior outlets (110V & 220V) to support both US and UK equipment charging. Requires shore-power connection capability, plus an onboard generator capable of sustaining operations for a minimum of 8 hours, with designated, safe storage for auxiliary generator fuel.
Exterior Storage & Suit-up Stations
Minimum of 4 dedicated response gear suit-up stations accessible from the exterior, capable of storing SCBA packs and CBRN PPE (suits and boots). Must include 100% water-resistant, easily washable slide-out trays capable of supporting multiple large storage cases (clearance requirement estimates: two areas roughly 42 inches wide x 45 inches long x 25 inches high, and one area roughly 42 inches wide x 36 inches long x 25 inches high).
Weather Protection
Retractable external awnings (Minimum 20 feet L x 6 feet W) on both sides of the trailer to protect personnel and gear. Must be rated for high winds to accommodate local UK weather conditions and securely stow for transport.
Internal Workspace
Enclosed internal work area with enough floor space to safely accommodate a minimum of 3 personnel without trip hazards. Must include designated desk/table workspace and secure storage/charging areas for batteries, radios, admin supplies, and map displays beneath the workbench area. Access into the trailer will be from a side door, minimum 42 in wide near the front of the trailer on either the left or right side.
Upon entering the trailer, there will be a workbench large enough for 3 personnel to service equipment while standing. The workbench should be approximately 15 ft long and 3 ft deep.
Warranty Include information in quote pertaining to standard commercial warranties offered for the trailer.
