| IT Essentials | A+ | To bring the Information Assurance (IA) workforce into compliance with the DoD 8570.01_ standards. This course provides instruction on basic hardware and software troubleshooting, security operations, networking fundamentals, cyber law and helpdesk operations. CCNA-2 CCNA-2 Switching, Routing, and Wireless Essentials (SRWE) this is the second course in the CCNA curriculum series. It focuses on switching technologies and router operations that support small-to-medium business networks and includes wireless local area networks (WLAN) and security concepts. The GBS course provides the knowledge and skills required to install, configure, operate, and maintain connectivity to pull the required services for the receive suite. The course includes the functional areas of the receive, space, and transmit segments. Transmission Supervisor Course TSC The Transmissions Supervisor Course (TSC) provides instruction on advanced operation of single channel radio (SCR), satellite communication (SATCOM) systems, and High Frequency (HF) radios utilizing the communications planning application (CPA). The TSC teaches students how to build field expedient antennas (FEAs) through HF theory. Following on annexes include the Global Broadcasting System (GBS), procedures to conduct a site survey, how to build a transmissions plan with emphasis on the utilization of SPEED and ACES/JACS, introduction to multi-channel system to include the MRC-142C and Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT) systems. The final annex covers the fundamental’s to manage a transmissions with the final evolution being a mastery of all concepts within the course. The TSC serves as a prerequisite to attending the Transmissions Chiefs Course as a Staff Non-Commissioned Officer. 20 180 154 33 20:01 1.
