About this file
This Statement of Work (SOW) details an Air Combat Command requirement to update the Access Control System (ACS) for Building 681 at Langley AFB, Virginia. The project involves furnishing and installing new compatible ACS equipment for seven interior doorways, including mechanical door locking hardware, infrastructure updates, an 8-hour runtime battery UPS, and a 5-year service plan. The existing system is a Genetec Advantage Security Center 5.9.3.0 controlling seven doorways (5 exterior, 2 interior), with all warranties expired. The current system's panels are located in the 1st floor communication room (Room 130), with the workstation in the 2nd floor communication room (Room 237). The government will fund the first year of the service plan at contract award, with the expectation that all cables will be pulled back to the 1st floor communication room while maintaining the 2nd floor workstation location.

Statement of Work (SOW) to
Update Access Control System (ACS) for Facility Bldg. 681
Air Combat Command’s Director of Logistics, Engineering, and Force Protection (ACC/A4) requests a proposal to furnish and install new compatible ACS equipment, hardware, mechanical door locking hardware, and infrastructure on seven (7) interior doorways; update existing ACS system; provide 8-hour runtime battery UPS; and provide 5-year service plan for the entire ACS system in building 681 at 130 Douglas St., Langley AFB, VA 23665. The Government will fund the first year of the service plan at contract award.
Site surveyors must take note that the facility currently has a Genetec Advantage Security Center 5.9.3.0 installed which controls seven (7) doorways (5 - exterior, 2 - interior). All warranties have since expired.
Panels for the existing system are installed on the 1st floor communication room (room 130).
Currently, all existing circuits/cables are pulled to one room (Room 130) via existing conduits with the onsite workstation located on the 2nd floor communication room (Room 237). The expectation is for all cables to be pulled back to the 1st floor communication room (room 130) and the onsite workstation remain in the 2nd floor communication room.
