Register of Wage Determinations Under the Service Contract Act

This document is a Register of Wage Determinations issued by the U.S. Department of Labor Employment Standards Administration Wage and Hour Division, effective August 22, 2026 (Wage Determination No. 2015-4341, Revision No. 36).

The wage determination applies to service contracts performed in Virginia and North Carolina, covering specific geographic areas including Virginia counties of Chesapeake, Gloucester, Hampton, Isle of Wight, James City, Matthews, Newport News, Poquoson, Williamsburg, and York, as well as North Carolina counties of Currituck and Gates. The determination establishes prevailing wage rates and fringe benefits for 130+ occupational classifications spanning administrative, automotive service, food preparation, furniture maintenance, health occupations, information technology, instructional, machine tool operation, materials handling, mechanics and maintenance, personal needs, plant and system operations, protective service, recreation, stevedoring, technical occupations, and transportation categories. Wage rates range from $13.62 to $49.89 per hour depending on occupational classification. All occupations listed receive fringe benefits of $5.92 per hour (up to 40 hours weekly or $236.80 per week) under standard provisions, with enhanced rates of $5.42 per hour available under Executive Order 13786 for paid sick leave compliance. Employees receive two weeks paid vacation after one year of service, three weeks after eight years, and four weeks after 15 years, plus eleven named federal holidays. Special provisions apply to computer employees, air traffic controllers, weather observers, and positions involving hazardous materials, with additional differentials of 4 to 8 percent for specific hazard exposures. The determination includes procedures for contractor conformance requests and authorization of additional classifications through Standard Form 1444.
