About this file
This is an Artificial Intelligence (AI) disclosure and compliance document for a state and local contract opportunity in Indiana, likely related to procurement requirements under Indiana Code 4-13.1-5-1. The document establishes mandatory disclosure requirements for vendors regarding AI integration in proposed solutions and development processes. Respondents must address whether their solutions incorporate AI functionality, including how it operates, whether it can be disabled without affecting core functionality, and who controls the enable/disable capabilities. Vendors must also disclose plans to introduce or expand AI capabilities within a four-year timeframe. Additionally, vendors must clarify whether developers will use AI tools to augment their work during implementation and support phases, including the degree and extent of such AI utilization.
The document requires vendors to provide detailed responses about AI dependencies in development processes and specify any impacts if AI functionality were disabled. Vendors whose solutions and development processes do not currently utilize AI and have no plans to introduce AI within four years must provide written confirmation of understanding. This attachment appears to be part of a broader bid package designed to ensure transparency regarding AI implementation in state procurement activities and to establish vendor accountability for disclosing artificial intelligence use in both solution delivery and development methodologies.
