About this file
This is a Sample Contract document for the State of Oregon's Auto Parts, Installation and Related Services procurement. The contract establishes the framework for supplying original equipment manufacturer (OEM) auto parts, aftermarket auto parts, rebuilt auto parts, used/recycled/repurposed auto parts, remanufactured auto parts, auto shop equipment, traction chains, and related installation training services to state agencies. The contract structure outlines the general terms and conditions under which suppliers will provide these goods and services, with specific product categories and pricing detailed in supporting attachments including the Market Basket (Attachment E). The contract serves as the template for evaluating bidder proposals and establishing the commercial relationship between the State of Oregon and selected vendors.
The Sample Contract details the standard pricing structure, payment terms, and performance requirements applicable to all awarded vendors under this statewide contract vehicle. The agreement establishes procedures for pricing adjustments, delivery timelines, warranty obligations, and quality standards for all supplied parts and services. This contract framework is designed to facilitate purchases across multiple state agencies and potentially other authorized entities, providing standardized terms and conditions while allowing individual state departments to order parts and services as needed throughout the contract period. The contract includes provisions for vendor performance monitoring, insurance requirements, and compliance with applicable state regulations and purchasing policies.
