About this file
This is a Market Basket pricing spreadsheet attachment to a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by the State of Oregon for auto parts, installation, and related services. The RFP seeks comprehensive pricing across twenty product and service categories, including OEM parts, aftermarket components, rebuilt parts, used/recycled/repurposed parts, remanufactured parts, auto shop equipment, diagnostic tools, and installation and training services. The categories encompass body hardware and trim, body repair, body systems, brakes, diagnostic overview and programming, driveline/axle, driver information and entertainment, engine/propulsion, glass/windows, heavy equipment parts, HVAC, power and signal distribution, restraints, safety and security, seating, steering, suspension, traction tire chains, transmission, training, and installation-related services. Proposers must identify their regional service capability across five ODOT-designated regions (Portland Metro, Willamette Valley and North Coast, Southwestern Oregon, Central Oregon, and Eastern Oregon) or certify statewide coverage. The spreadsheet requires vendors to submit pricing for agency-requested items with the flexibility to expand product offerings as needed.
Pricing shall be submitted as a percentage discount off manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) with corresponding contract prices stated in dollar values for each line item. Proposers are encouraged to provide economic order quantities, significant price breaks at different volume points, and market basket pricing for related items typically purchased together. Vendors must specify delivery costs, warranty terms, and lead times for each product category or subcategory. The spreadsheet includes fields for identifying part type (OEM, aftermarket, rebuilt, used/recycled/repurposed, or remanufactured), manufacturer information, and additional descriptive details. For glass and window services, proposers must certify whether they employ an ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) certified technician. Proposers may submit multiple Market Basket spreadsheets if they provide different categories or pricing for different regions; if regions are not specified, proposals are assumed to apply statewide.
