About this file
This is an Insurance Schedule document for a High Voltage System Engineering Services contract awarded by the State of Nevada Colorado River Commission. The document establishes comprehensive insurance requirements that the contractor and all subcontractors must maintain throughout contract performance and any applicable warranty periods. The insurance obligations are minimum requirements and do not limit the contractor's indemnity obligations under the contract.
The contractor must procure and maintain Commercial General Liability with a General Aggregate limit of $10,000,000 and Each Occurrence limit of $5,000,000; Automobile Liability with a Combined Single Limit of $5,000,000 for owned, hired, and non-owned vehicles; Workers' Compensation at statutory levels with Employers' Liability coverage of $100,000 per accident and $500,000 policy limit; and Builders' Risk Insurance in an amount equal to the initial contract amount plus additional coverage for change orders, written on an all-risk replacement cost basis including soft costs, flood, and earth movement. All policies must name the State of Nevada as an additional insured, be primary and non-contributory, and be issued by insurers with an A.M. Best rating of not less than A-VII. The contractor must provide certificates of insurance (ACORD form or equivalent) to Gina Goodman at 100 N. City Pkwy, Suite 1100, Las Vegas, Nevada 89106 before work commences and maintain coverage throughout the project duration. Insurance policies cannot be suspended, voided, or canceled without thirty days' prior written notice to the State, except for non-payment of premium which requires ten days' notice. Subcontractors must maintain limits of liability not less than $5,000,000 per occurrence and $10,000,000 aggregate, either through inclusion as additional insureds on the contractor's policies or through separate insurance maintained by the subcontractor. Any modifications to these insurance requirements must be approved by the State Risk Management Division or the Attorney General's Office.
