About this file

This document is a Lead-Based Paint (LBP) Inventory Report for Facility Number 4, an Aircraft Maintenance facility located at JBSA Randolph. The report comprehensively documents multiple work orders from 2011-2013 revealing lead-based paint presence in various areas including hangar doors, concrete walls, I-beams, and interior spaces like breakrooms and offices.

The report emphasizes strict OSHA 29 CFR 1926.62 compliance requirements, mandating that any paint disturbance (sanding, grinding, blasting, drilling, welding) must be performed exclusively by a certified lead abatement team. A subsequent 2025 entry confirms ongoing lead-based paint monitoring, specifically noting gray I-beams at the facility are positive for lead-based paint, with a work order (WT# 1508471) for installing two 5-ton hoists requiring certified lead abatement procedures. The facility is owned by 12 MSG/CE, has a manned status, and contains one floor with zero recorded square footage.
