About this file

This document is an Assurance of Civil Rights Compliance form for a vendor seeking to participate in USDA-funded programs, specifically related to a Commodity Processing Foods contract with a school district in Florida. The document outlines comprehensive civil rights compliance requirements, including adherence to multiple federal statutes such as the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and various USDA non-discrimination regulations. The vendor must commit to ensuring no person is excluded from participation or denied benefits based on race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability in any program receiving federal financial assistance.

The assurance is binding for the vendor as long as they receive USDA assistance and covers a wide range of potential financial interactions, including grants, loans, property use, and food service equipment procurement. The document emphasizes that the USDA has the right to seek judicial enforcement of these non-discrimination provisions, and the vendor must sign and authorize an official to represent their commitment to these civil rights standards. This form is part of a competitive bidding process for processing USDA commodity products into approved end products, with delivery specified to the district's central warehouse in Bartow, Florida.
