About this file

This file is a Vendor Questions and Answers document (Vendor Q&A.xlsx) associated with solicitation ASOS0002 for 124 ASOS Recruiting Event services. The file contains the consolidated questions submitted by potential vendors and the government's corresponding responses regarding the solicitation requirements and evaluation criteria. As a Q&A file, it serves to clarify solicitation requirements and address vendor inquiries to ensure a common understanding among all offerors prior to proposal submission.

The Q&A document supports the underlying requirement for TACP/ASOS Specialized Recruiting Event Services, which calls for a comprehensive, turn-key recruiting and athletic pre-screening service targeting elite candidate pools for the TACP/ASOS pipelines. The solicitation, issued by the Department of the Army National Guard, requires a commercial solution combining targeted marketing, comprehensive liability coverage, and fully managed event execution. The original question submission deadline was 30 August 2026 by 1300 Eastern Standard Time, with consolidated Q&A responses posted by 9 September 2026 by 1300 Eastern Standard Time. The government notes that funds are not presently available and reserves the right to cancel the solicitation at any time with no obligation to reimburse offerors for proposal costs.

1In section 3.3 event execution, the government lists an exhibit space of up to three 20x20 spaces, but the solicitation lists Gowen Field as the period of performance on page 16. Looking for clarification on the required exhibit space.Exhibit space would be a 20x20 space for recruiting personnel to put a pop up, table, and water station. One of those spaces per location. Gowen Field would be where the majority of the workouts occur, pool location could be the Boise Aquatic Center, Idaho Outdoor Field-house, YMCA or other suitable location. “Field” location could be lucky peak reservoir or other suitable location. This would encompass the “3 exhibit spaces”
2Request further clarification on facilities available at Gowen Field for event execution. Is the event to be executed on Gowen Field? Section 2 and solicitation provide conflicting information. Section 2 states the contractor shall provide all facilities to run the recruiting event, but the solicitation lists the Gowen Field the place of performance.A majority of the items can be completed on Gowen field, the only things lacking is area for a ruck and a pool for swimming exercises. These would be up to the contractor to secure a location suitable to perform the needed activities. The Gowen field has a Gym, Track, and ASOS has items needed for rucking. Choice of location is what works best for contractor.
4Booking locations will require government coordination with contacts, will that be made available?Recruiting will be the primary POC for activites on base.
5If the answer is no, facilities will not be provided by the government, please clarify that the government expects the vendor to book facilities in the local communityYes, facilities in the local area would need to be secured.
6If the place of performance is at Gowen Field, will the government be assisting in base access for the participants? The vendor will submit a consolidated base access request prior to events will be submitted to 124 SFS prior to event start date with all participants over the age of 18 that do not have base access.
