As-Built Drawings of Existing Lift Station #62
This document is an as-built drawing file related to the City of Daytona Beach's Lift Station #62 Replacement project in Volusia County, Florida. The as-built drawings provide detailed technical documentation of the existing wastewater lift station infrastructure that will be demolished and replaced as part of this comprehensive infrastructure upgrade. The project requires complete reconstruction of the facility, including a new 16-foot inner diameter circular wet well, four pumps (three duty and one standby) equipped with variable frequency drives, an air-conditioned electrical building, pad-mounted transformer, standby generator, and pole barn storage structure. A non-mandatory pre-bid conference is scheduled for January 13, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. via Microsoft Teams, with questions due by January 27, 2026, at 5:00 p.m., and bid proposals required by February 3, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. through the OpenGov Procurement Platform. All submissions must be made online; no paper bids will be accepted, and interested parties may observe the bid opening virtually.
Bidders must hold a current Florida General Contractor's License and provide three verifiable references from the past ten years, with at least one reference demonstrating experience on a wastewater lift station with a 16-foot or greater diameter and another showing expertise in complex wetwell excavation. Bid security of 10 percent of the bid amount is required in the form of a bid bond, certified check, cashier's check, irrevocable letter of credit, or money order. The City offers a 10 percent price advantage to qualified local vendors but has not established specific set-aside designations for disadvantaged businesses. The successful bidder will be required to furnish 100 percent Performance and Payment Bonds if the contract price exceeds $100,000. The project encompasses 20 lump-sum line items covering various construction phases, plus an additional $10,000 owners allowance for permit fees. The facility must maintain continuous operation throughout construction, and the new station will serve a design flow of 2,400 gallons per minute.
