About this file

This document is Addendum #2 for the Arriba Rest Area Remodel (Project #25422) issued by the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) on 07/24/2024. The addendum provides critical bidding information, including electronic bid submission requirements through CDOT's Procurement Website (BidNet) with electronic bids due on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at 2PM MT. Contractors must register on the BidNet website and can observe the bid opening via a Google Meet link or audio conference call. The addendum includes a comprehensive project Q&A section addressing specific technical questions about drawing details, tile specifications, floor drain replacements, and construction materials.

The addendum clarifies several technical specifications for the rest area remodel, including acceptable tile sizes (12x24 instead of 4x12), confirmation that the existing building is constructed of block, and details about floor drain and strainer replacements. Contractors are advised that the SWMP (Stormwater Management Plan) should be included in their proposal, and that exterior work will involve water line replacement and concrete removal. The document emphasizes the need for field verification of existing conditions prior to work commencement and provides revised drawing details to support bidders in preparing accurate proposals. Contact support for bid system issues is provided through support@bidnet.com, with Robert Wilson from CDOT's Property Management Section serving as the primary contact.
