Appendix R_Attach E.pdf

This document is an Appendix to the Next Space Technologies for Exploration Partnerships (NextSTEP-2) Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) released by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). The objective of this Appendix R is to seek industry-led concept definition and maturation studies that address lunar surface logistics and uncrewed surface mobility capabilities to support NASA's Moon to Mars exploration architecture. NASA is seeking studies on topics such as logistics carriers, handling and offloading of cargo, cargo transfer, staging/storage/tracking, trash management, surface cargo transportation and mobility systems, and an integrated logistics strategy. NASA plans to host an Industry Day on August 27, 2024 to provide additional context and information. Proposals will be evaluated in accordance with the overall NextSTEP-2 BAA. NASA reserves the right to select multiple, one, or no proposals in response to this Appendix.
