About this file
This is an E-Verify Subcontractor Affidavit required by the City of Norcross, Georgia, pursuant to O.C.G.A. 13-10-91. The affidavit serves as verification that subcontractors performing services under contracts with the City of Norcross are in compliance with Georgia's federal work authorization requirements. Subcontractors must attest that they are registered with and authorized to use E-Verify or any subsequent replacement program, and they must continue using the program throughout the entire contract period. The affidavit requires subcontractors to provide their federal work authorization user identification number and date of authorization, project name, and the name of the public employer.
Subcontractors are obligated to ensure that all sub-subcontractors also provide compliant affidavits and must forward notices of sub-subcontractor affidavits to the primary contractor within five business days of receipt. The affidavit must be executed under penalty of perjury by an authorized officer or agent of the subcontractor and notarized. No specific pricing terms, award dates, contract duration, or renewal options are addressed in this compliance document, as it functions solely as a verification mechanism for work authorization eligibility rather than a statement of work or contract terms.
