About this file
Appendix D provides detailed housing and meals provisioning information for contractors working with CENTCOM across multiple Middle Eastern countries. The document outlines specific arrangements for each location, including quarters and meal provisions at government expense for military bases in Jordan, Kuwait, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia. In contrast, NSA Manama in Bahrain offers no government-provided quarters, with TDY personnel only allowed billeting at Navy Lodge on a reimbursable basis.
The appendix also highlights country-specific entry requirements and transportation arrangements. Some locations like Jordan and Saudi Arabia require only LOA/CAC/Passport for entry and provide military transportation, while Kuwait, Qatar, and UAE require sponsorship for permanent party contractors and mandate that contractors arrange their own airport transportation. A critical note indicates that in emergencies such as military conflicts, medical situations, or other life-threatening contingencies, the US Military will provide transportation if contractors cannot. The document recommends consulting the Foreign Clearance Guide (https://www.fcg.pentagon.mil/fcg.cfm) for the most current country access information.
