About this file
This document is a Direct Labor Burden Calculation form from the State of Colorado Office of the State Architect State Buildings Program, specifically for the Auraria Higher Education Center (AHEC) project involving Administration Building 253 Server Room Upgrades (Project No. P1003887). The project entails HVAC and electrical upgrades to an existing IT server room, including demolition of existing condensing units and installation of a new Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) and two CRAC (Computer Room Air Conditioning) units. The project drawings and specifications, dated 9/11/2025 and prepared by RMH Group, have been reviewed and approved for construction by AEC-West, the authority having jurisdiction.
The labor burden calculation form requires contractors to detail their labor overhead percentages, including payroll taxes, pension costs, health and dental insurance, and other employee benefits. The form is meant to be submitted for review prior to executing the construction agreement and will be used to calculate future Change Order Proposals. The state reserves the right to request additional verification of the information provided. The document includes a template for contractors to complete their specific labor burden percentage, though in this instance, the total labor burden percentage is listed as 0%, which appears to be a placeholder or incomplete section of the document.
