About this file

This document is an Appendix 3 - Sprinkler Inspection Form for the Craig Flex Housing location for the USDA Forest Service Alaska Regional Office. The form details the results of an annual sprinkler system inspection conducted on September 29, 2022. The inspection identified several deficiencies, including a non-functional alarm water flow bell, a non-functional alarm dialer, lack of sprinkler coverage for outdoor areas and the fire escape stairs, and the system being improperly configured as a glycol system instead of a wet system. The document includes photographs and a list of the identified deficiencies that require corrective action to maintain compliance with state and local code requirements.

The related federal contract opportunity is for Fire Sprinkler and Backflow Prevention Certification on Forest Service Buildings/systems in Southeast Alaska, with a solicitation number of 1240BF24Q0026. The opportunity is being issued by the Department of Agriculture Forest Service.
