About this file
The document is a compilation of appendices for a City of Pasadena construction contract for the Seismic Retrofit and Tenant Improvements at Fire Station 31, located at 135 S Fair Oaks Ave. The appendices include Payment and Performance Bonds, Construction Administration Forms, placeholders for Hazardous Materials and Geotechnical Surveys (marked as "NOT USED"), and Federal Minimum Wages (marked as "APPLICABLE"). The forms cover various aspects of the construction project, including change orders, conditional and unconditional waivers, declarations to procure payments, affidavits of final completion, contractor warranties, and consent of surety.
The documents detail wage rates for multiple construction trades in Los Angeles County, California, as of January 2023, in compliance with Davis-Bacon Act requirements. The wage determination includes specific hourly rates and fringe benefits for various job classifications such as asbestos workers, boilermakers, bricklayers, carpenters, electricians, engineers, ironworkers, laborers, painters, plasterers, plumbers, roofers, and truck drivers. The wage rates are subject to Executive Orders 14026 and 13658, which establish minimum wage requirements for federal contractors, with rates ranging from $12.15 to $16.20 per hour depending on the contract date and classification.
