About this file
This is a cover page for an Invitation for Bid (IFB) issued by the California Department of General Services, Procurement Division (DGS-PD) for a statewide contract to supply printers and multifunction devices (MFDs). The contract is established as a multi-year agreement with an initial term of two years, followed by three optional one-year extension periods, making the potential contract duration up to five years. The contract will be awarded by group and is mandatory for use by all State of California departments, while remaining available for use by local governmental agencies. Delivery and service coverage extends statewide, and interested vendors are directed to access the full solicitation documents through the View Event Package option, with inquiries directed to the DGS-PD Procurement Official.
The cover page does not contain detailed information regarding specific pricing terms, quantities of devices, set-asides, incumbent vendors, or funding sources and amounts. Additional solicitation documents, including the scope of work and technical specifications, would typically contain these specifications and financial requirements necessary for bidders to develop competitive proposals.
