About this file
This is a Q&A document containing responses to questions submitted by Campbell Aviation to Coweta County regarding an aviation fuel supply contract opportunity. The questions address details about the current fuel services environment at what appears to be a county airport, including information about existing fuel storage, refueling equipment, and operational procedures. The document reveals there is a self-service station for a 2,000-gallon AvGas tank, and the facility maintains three refueler trucks: a 2011 AvGas refueler, a 2000 2,200-gallon Jet A refueler, and a 2009 3,000-gallon Jet A refueler.
The facility's fuel volume history shows increasing usage trends, with 2024 volumes of 139,432 gallons of AvGas 100LL and 196,840 gallons of Jet A. Military fueling accounts for 1,000-3,000 gallons annually, with approximately 70,000 gallons in Contract Fuel Sales in 2024. Current monthly lease rates for refuelers are $500 for the AvGas truck, $395 for the 2,200-gallon Jet A truck, and $1,000 for the 3,000-gallon Jet A truck. The current supplier handles fuel farm filter changes and provides facility signage. Line staff are trained in fuel receiving procedures including white bucket tests, hydrometer, and whiz wheel operations.
