The prevailing hourly rates include applicable fringe benefit amounts as defined in Missouri Revised Statutes Section 290.210. Overtime compensation is mandated at one and one-half times the prevailing hourly rate for work exceeding ten hours in one day or forty hours in one calendar week, and double the prevailing rate for all work performed on Sundays or designated holidays. Designated holidays include January 1st, Memorial Day (last Monday in May), July 4th, Labor Day (first Monday in September), Veterans Day (November 11th), Thanksgiving (fourth Thursday in November), and Christmas (December 25th), with the following Monday observed if a holiday falls on Sunday. A thirty-minute unpaid lunch period is mandated daily for workers on public works projects. Rates marked with an asterisk indicate occupational titles for which the Division received fewer than 1,000 reportable hours, with prevailing wage established using data from the Missouri Economic Research and Information Center.
