About this file

This is an amendment to a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by the University of Maryland (UMD) in Maryland for the procurement of Family Care Services management. The amendment modifies the original RFP_00020842TTR and pertains to the selection of a qualified vendor to manage all aspects of the University-sponsored Family Care Services benefit for employees. UMD is seeking a provider capable of offering holistic, accessible, and affordable care options spanning child care, elder care, special needs care, and pet services. The amendment document dated October 17, 2025, establishes revised terms and conditions for prospective bidders to address the University's comprehensive family care benefit program. Specific details regarding response deadlines, site visit opportunities, bidders' conferences, and contract term length should be referenced within the amendment text for complete procurement timeline information.

The amendment modifies pricing structures, contractual obligations, or other material terms originally outlined in the base RFP. Vendors responding to this opportunity must comply with all amendments and original RFP specifications to ensure proposal compliance and eligibility for award consideration. The University of Maryland Family Care Services procurement represents a significant benefit administration contract designed to enhance employee retention and satisfaction through comprehensive, accessible family support services. Additional details regarding funding sources, budget allocations, incumbent contractor information, and specific performance requirements are contained within the full amendment documentation.
