About this file

This is an amendment to a mobilization-demobilization contract opportunity involving two separate projects—Wallace and Chapman—to be awarded to a single bidder. The amendment clarifies that both projects are distinct bidding opportunities, with the intention that a single contractor will be selected to perform work on both properties. The bid due date has been moved to Monday, April 13, 2015, at 4:00 PM.

The amendment addresses contractor obligations regarding salvage and equipment disposition for the Wallace wells project. The contractor is responsible for removing all production equipment, including pump jacks, separators, meter runs, tanks, rods, and tubing from three Wallace wells. The contracting agency, CO&GC, expects the sites to be completely cleaned of all equipment by the end of the plugging phase. The contractor may incorporate the costs of transport, salvage, and disposition of this equipment as part of their overall bid submission, with no separate credit owed to CO&GC for proceeds from equipment disposition.

Text version

Amendment #2 Mobilization/Demobilization We would like to clarify a couple of things for the Wallace and Chapman projects.

1) There are two different projects to be bid on – the Wallace and the Chapman.

We intend to award both on these properties to a single bidder.

2) Questions on Salvage Is it the contractor’s obligation to remove the production equipment (pump jacks, separators, meter runs, and tanks) from the 3 Wallace wells Project?

Does the contractor “earn” salvage rights to these items?

Or does the CO&GC expect to receive a credit for any proceeds from the disposition of this equipment?

Same questions for the rods and tubing removed from these wells?

Answer:

With the disposition of the equipment and rods/tubing, our intention is that the sites are cleaned of all equipment by the end of the plugging piece, so the transport/salvage/ whatever can be included as part of their overall bid.

3) Because of the above changes:

The due date for the bid is hereby moved to Monday April 13, 2015 at 4:00 PM.
