About this file

This Amendment #1 document addresses mobilization and demobilization requirements for two separate projects: Wallace and Chapman. Rather than requiring independent mobilization and demobilization efforts for each project, the amendment establishes a single, combined mobilization/demobilization approach to be executed concurrently for both projects. This unified approach is designed to enhance cost-effectiveness and schedule efficiency for all parties involved. Although each project retains individual mobilization and demobilization line items in the bid structure, these items are not priced independently from scratch, reflecting the integrated nature of the work.

The amendment clarifies that bidders should propose mobilization and demobilization strategies that treat both projects as a coordinated undertaking rather than separate endeavors. This consolidated approach allows contractors to leverage efficiencies in equipment deployment, staffing, and logistics across both the Wallace and Chapman projects, ultimately reducing overall project costs and durations while maintaining the contractual distinction between the two separate projects.

Text version

Amendment #1 Mobilization/Demobilization There are two different projects to be bid on – the Wallace and the Chapman.

Please treat it as a ‘singular’ mobilization/demobilization as our intention is to complete both projects essentially at the same time and to make the project more cost and time-effective for everyone. So each project does have a mob/demob line item but they are not both from scratch.
