About this file

This is an Amendment #1 document pertaining to mobilization and demobilization services for two separate projects: the Wallace project and the Chapman project. Rather than requiring separate mobilization and demobilization efforts for each project, the amendment clarifies that bidders should treat the mobilization and demobilization as a singular undertaking, with both projects to be completed essentially simultaneously. While each project contains its own mobilization and demobilization line item in the bid structure, these line items are not independent from-scratch efforts but rather coordinated activities designed to enhance cost and time efficiency for all parties involved.

The amendment emphasizes that this approach allows contractors to consolidate their mobilization and demobilization activities across both projects, thereby reducing redundant costs and project duration. Bidders should structure their proposals to reflect this integrated approach, recognizing that the two projects will operate concurrently with coordinated site setup, resource deployment, and project conclusion activities.

Text version

Amendment #1 Mobilization/Demobilization There are two different projects to be bid on – the Wallace and the Chapman.

Please treat it as a ‘singular’ mobilization/demobilization as our intention is to complete both projects essentially at the same time and to make the project more cost and time-effective for everyone. So each project does have a mob/demob line item but they are not both from scratch.
