3WCAMost of the drywall ceilings have already been textured and are ready for paint. There are several areas with water damage that require repair or replacement. 4WCAFor the epoxy floor finish, we would utilize a two part epoxy floor paint with sand broadcast into the mix for slip resistance. We do not see any rubber cove base included with this Scope of Work. Please confirm.No Rubber cove base will be required in the scope.
5WCAPer the walk-thru, we only saw one (1) shower fixture in Pod F and two (2) shower fixtures in Pod E. The Scope of Services calls for (4) existing shower fixtures/nozzles to be replaced. Please advise.Correction: Replace (1) detention grade shower fixtures and nozzles in Pod F and (2) detention grade in Pod E.
6WCAScope of Sevices calls for all detention showers to receive epoxy wall and floor finishes. Please confirm that this scope is limited to just Detention Pods E & F showers.Correct: All shower and toilet walls and floors stall receive expoxy wall finish.
7WCAPlease provide a .PDF Floor Plan of the 2nd Floor building floor architectural layout if available.Existing floor plans will be provided.
8WCAFor Security Clearance, please advise on which security application and level of clearance is required for onsite Supervisor.When contractor is awarded contract, security clearance procedures will be provided to contractor.
9WCAFor CMU wall painting Scope of Work, we recommend a block filler primer with 2 acylic semi-gloss finish coats of paint for non-shower areas and two coats of water based catalyzed epoxy paint for shower area walls. 11WCAPlease confirm that all shelving and stored materials in the Detention Pods will be removed by Detention Facility Staff prior to construction start.All stored materials will be removed from Pods during construction.
