REQ.15255 – RFI Event 667 - Q & A
Q1.Section: N/A. When does OSDE anticipate posting the approved list of vendors?
The OSDE will post the list of approved vendors after the review process is complete and OSDE leadership has approved posting the list. Date of posting TBD.
Q2.Section: N/A. Will districts be expected to implement the screener(s) in fall 2025? If not, please indicate when districts will be expected to implement.
No, districts will not be expected to implement the screener unless future legislation mandates the implementation of a math screener.
Q3. Section: Attachment A, Purpose/Pg. 1. Requirement: All submissions shall not exceed a maximum page count of 100 pages and shall not include outside links. Question: Please define “outside links.”
Can vendors provide links to supporting evidence documents housed on their own internal sites and accessible to OSDE?
All submissions should remain within the maximum page count of 100 pages, excluding item 2.1.5 in Attachment A. This item, which requires a full alignment to the Oklahoma Academic Standards for the grade levels the vendor’s screening tool assesses, will not count toward the total 100-page limit.
Outside links are any external links that lead to . Outside links will not be reviewed.
Q4. Section: Attachment A, Purpose/Pg.1. Requirement: All submissions shall not exceed a maximum page count of 100 pages and shall not include outside links. Question: Is the 100-page maximum inclusive of attachments/supporting evidence documentation?
Excluding item 2.1.5 in Attachment A, the 100-page maximum includes attachments/supporting evidence documentation. Item 2.1.5 in Attachment A requires a full alignment to the Oklahoma Academic Standards for the grade levels the vendor’s screening tool assesses; therefore, will not count toward the total 100-page limit.
Q5. The RFI indicates that it will not result in a contract but rather vendors being placed on a list from which districts can purchase under their own contracts. Does this mean that the RFI terms and conditions do not need to be addressed?
Correct. Terms and conditions do not need to be addressed. (Sections inadvertently added: Section II of Attachment A, Attachment B & Attachment C).
Q6. Page 1 of RFI Attachment A, notes "All submissions shall not exceed a maximum page count of 100 pages...". Does the maximum page count apply to all eight sections noted in the Bidder Instructions document (pages 5-8) or only to the "Response to Specifications and Requirements" criteria to be addressed in Section 7 (pages 7-8)?
The maximum page count of 100 pages applies to only 'Section 7.7: Response to Specifications and Requirements' as outlined in Attachment A. Item 2.1.5 in Attachment A requires a full alignment to the Oklahoma Academic Standards for the grade levels the vendor’s screening tool assesses and will not count toward the 100-page limit.
Q7. Are you looking for 3x a year assessment OR intervention software with this bid?
The vendor must supply a screening assessment that can be administered at least 3 times each school year.
The facilitation of this screener would be required at least at the beginning, middle, and end of each school year.
Instructional materials or intervention products can be submitted in addition to the required assessment, as outlined in Attachment A, Section 2.2.5.
