About this file

This document is Amendment #1 to the Request for Proposals (RFP) issued by the Maryland Uninsured Employers' Fund (UEF) for Workers' Compensation Third Party Claims Administration Professional Services. The amendment extends the proposal due date from February 2, 2024 to February 9, 2024 at 2:00 PM local time. It also clarifies that the Offeror shall provide a Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT) containing an analysis of conformance to accessibility standards in Code of Maryland Regulations 14.33.02, as referenced in Section 4.32 of the RFP, rather than Section 4.33. Additionally, the amendment specifies that the Technical Proposal and all supporting material shall be submitted in Microsoft Word format, version 2007 or greater.

The RFP seeks to obtain third party administrator services to provide the full scope of services necessary for the processing, investigation, and administration of all relevant UEF workers' compensation claims, including those where the claimant was employed by an uninsured employer or where the UEF has been made a party to the claim.
