The aforementioned referenced Drawing Sheet Keynotes state to “Replace existing frequency converter with new. Refer to Performance Specifications located in Section 26 20 00.”

Specification Section 26 20 00 does not contain a performance specification for converters.

Typically, converters are specified in Section 26 35 43. However, RFP Specification Section 26

35 43 does not contain any performance specification for converters either. Please review the

RFP documents and provide a performance specification for converters for our use.

Response: Design intent is to have a 90KVA, 480/277V TO 200/115V, 3PH, 400HZ frequency converter for either a FCX model or Unitron model. Pax River has both models.

GC to provide submittal for review.

91. Question: Windows C, D, E, E1 are noted to be historic and to match the existing. They are shown to have a 4.5” face dimension and a 6” depth in a double hung configuration. There is no supplier with such a product. Please advise.

Response: See Response 18. Match existing windows. See attached Historic Window

Dimension example.

92. Please provide conduit, wire size, and panel designation for existing panels to be “re-fed”. See attached. Detail A1/E-401 does not give ANY information and these existing panels are not shown on ANY panel schedules.

Response:

Please provide these conduit and wiring sizes to the existing panels that are to be re-fed:

N-HGR-SM-E (EXISTING PANEL): 4-500 KCMIL & 1#2G, 4"C. fed from 400A/3P breaker in NMDP

N-HGR-SM-W (EXISTING PANEL): 4-500 KCMIL & 1#2G, 4"C. fed from 400A/3P breaker in NMDP

EXISTING PANEL 12 (SUB FEEDS TO 10 & 11): 4#3/0 & 1#4G, 2"C. fed from

175A/3P breaker in NP21A

EXISTING PANEL 15 (SUB FEEDS TO 13 & 14): 4#2/0 & 1#6G, 2"C. fed from

175A/3P breaker in NP21A

EXISTING PANEL 9 (SUB FEEDS TO 7 & 8): 4#2/0 & 1#6G, 2"C. fed from 175A/3P breaker in NP21A

EXISTING PANEL 18 (SUB FEEDS TO 16 & 17): 4#3/0 & 1#4G, 2"C. fed from

175A/3P breaker in NP21A”
