About this file
This is an amendment to special conditions for the Switzerland Park Project, a reclamation initiative managed by the Colorado Parks and Wildlife Division. The amendment clarifies requirements and responses to contractor inquiries from a pre-bid meeting held on September 9, 2026. Key project requirements include controlled access to project sites via designated Google Earth routes, with minimal tree and limb removal permitted only for safe equipment access. Upon project completion, all disturbed areas and access roads must be repaired, re-graded to approximate existing contours, and revegetated using Division-provided seed mixture at ten pounds per acre without commercial fertilizer or manure. Revegetation and erosion control measures are required as specified in the project's special conditions documents, while a project sign is not required.
A bid bond is not required for this solicitation. All terms and conditions of the original Documented Quote remain in effect except as modified by this amendment, which contractors must acknowledge by receipt and acceptance on the bid schedule and submission of the original bid schedule. The amendment establishes that contractors must adhere to revegetation specifications outlined in the General Bid Specifications from 2009 and comply with applicable sections covering erosion control and site restoration.
