About this file
This is a parts list and procurement document for the State of Maine's purchase of compressed air system equipment for the MMA-Limestone Facility located at 125 Kansas Road, Limestone, ME 04750. The solicitation seeks to award purchasing contracts for multiple air system components including air dryers (2 units), air filters (4 units total across two categories), flow control valves (1 unit), condensate treatment and oil/water separators (1 unit), compressed air receiver tanks (1 unit), point-of-use breathing air filters (12 units), a carbon monoxide monitoring system (1 unit), compressed air piping and fittings, and compressed air accessories. The solicitation also requires coordination and support services including 16 hours of onsite start-up and installation support, one day of operator training (8 hours), and certification of breathing air quality per OSHA 29 CFR 1910.134D and CAGI G-7.1-1989 Grade "E" standards. Lead times represent a significant evaluation factor in the contract award decision.
Bid prices must include all freight and delivery charges to the destination facility and may optionally include installation pricing. All items must be new and conform to applicable Military Standards, with the Buy American Act certification potentially required prior to award. Suppliers must provide data sheets, certificates of conformance, and support the Owner in preparing an Efficiency Maine Custom Compressed Air Application for the air dryer, air receiver tank, and flow control valve prior to equipment purchase. Contract award is contingent upon successful screening through the federal Excluded Parties List System (EPLS) and submission of required certifications and company documentation including legal entity name, DUNS number, and CAGE Code. Additional requirements from the State Purchasing Division may apply. All inquiries should be directed to the State Purchasing Division contact, not the MMA-Limestone Facility.
