2. On drawing E-102 there are underground conduits coming from room 101 to room 111 to the fire pump controller. Please clarify the number and sizes of conduits to supply. Response: Refer to drawing E-002 for cable and conduit size – 2 conduits with one set of 3#6 & 1#8 Gnd in 2 “ Cnd each & 1 conduit with one set of 2 #12 in 1” cnd. In addition Drawing E-102 shows wire and conduit size on plan.

3. On drawing E-601 LP1 panel schedule depicts circuit numbers 24, 26, 28, and 30 to be for site lighting. However, on E-101 lighting plan depicts 1-2 inch conduit with 2#8 & 1#10G coming from the lighting contactor to relocated site lighting pole. Please clarify the circuit number to be used from panel LP1 for this circuit. Response: Panel LP1 circuit #24.

4. Spec section 16716 2.5 states to install an orange jacketed fiber to comply with ICEA-640 and RUS 1755-900 and ICEA-S-83-596 (this standard only complies to indoor fiber. However, on drawing E-004, there appears to be conduit installed under ground between High Security Bldg to the Warehouse building. Please advise with new Spec/clarify which standard to follow. If the cable is to be rated for indoor and outdoor use then the standard should not be ICEA-S-83-596.

Should be ICEA S-104-696. Response: Multimode Fiber Optic Cable shall be indoor-outdoor rated in compliance with ICEA S-104-696.

5. On drawing E-004 there is an existing 4 inch conduit that begins in the existing area A termination point and ends in the electrical room in the Virology laboratory. Please clarify if this existing conduit is underground. Response: Conduit is underground between building and exposed inside buildings.

6. On drawing E-003 depicts three existing pole lights to remove and relocate. Please clarify if just one of the existing light poles is getting circuited to the new lighting contactor. If so, please clarify the circuit number from panel LP1. Response: One lighting pole is getting circuited.

7. On drawing E-003 depicts two existing pole lights outside the new warehouse building footprint. Please clarify if we are just to reconnect them to existing circuitry. Response: there is one light pole outside the new warehouse footprints being relocated. Use circuit LP1-24.

8. On drawing E-003 depicts three existing pole lights. Please clarify the depth of the new conduit to be installed to extend the existing wiring to the new pole light location. Response: 18” below grade.

9. Please clarify if the owner will be providing and installing the security, video surveillance, and access control equipment. Response: The contractor must provide and install all access control / intrusion detection access control panels, the controller, door modules, power supplies and back up battery kits as well as associated wiring and any comm room patch cables from the access control panel to the Owner provided network switch. In addition, the contractor shall provide system programming and testing and subsequent coordination and support required to interface this sub-system’s controller with the facilities existing access control system. The contractor shall also provide and install CCTV video surveillance components as shown on the associated project drawings to include a video surveillance LCD display (Core Systems rack mount console model MLD2026K or equal) camera mounts, cameras, camera cabling, a DVR and storage sufficient for 24 hours per day for a 30 day period for each camera at a minimum rate of 15 frames per second. Minimum camera requirement is the Hikvision Value Series 3 MP 30x

Outdoor Network PTZ Speed Dome Camera PN: DS-2DE5330W-AE or equal with compatible DVR/NVR and sufficient storage.

10. On drawing E-102 the water tank digital controller depicts (3) 3/4 inch conduits leaving the water tank digital controller inside the building and extending out to the water tank. Please provide a detail for direct burial or concrete encased conduits with depth. Response: See detail 1/E-102 on drawing E-102.
