Response to Questions December 11, 2015

Question #1: Could we bid only on the 2017 and 2018 years?

Response: Quotations must include a price for all items in this solicitation to be eligible for award. The

Government will award on an “All or None” basis. (Please see “Notes to Quoters”, paragraph (h).)

Question #2: We would like to know if the respondents must provide a bid for services for all states or for a smaller region of the States.

Response: Quotations must include a price for all items in this solicitation to be eligible for award. The

Government will award on an “All or None” basis. (Please see “Notes to Quoters”, paragraph (h).)

Question # 3: For Green Funnel Traps that are installed in more southerly climates, do these still need to be checked every week until August 1st?

Response: Service checks shall occur according to the number of days specified for each type of trap

(see paragraph 2.0): “… Service checks for Green Funnel Traps shall occur every 14‐21 days after initial deployment and entails the collection of any suspect EAB and replenishment or replacement of polypropylene glycol in the collection cup. EAB lure efficacy is approximately 60 days, therefore at 60 days change the lure at that service check.”

Contractors are reminded that “Regardless of the initial placement date and the first check date the traps shall not be removed prior to 1500 growing degree days or August 1st whichever is LATER.” (See paragraph 3.7, Trap Removal.)
