Ref: Request for Information (RFI), AG-024B-S-15-0042
Subj: IROC Project Update, 12/18/2015
Thank you for your interest in the Interagency Resource Ordering Capability (IROC) Project. This letter serves as official update and status of the Project.
The Government has reviewed the responses to the RFI. At this time market research activities are on-going, including refining the requirements and the acquisition strategy.
We will not be releasing any type of solicitation or additional information of substance this calendar year.
We are in the process of developing a Market Research Overview that will be shared with all interested parties via FBO notice late in the first quarter or early second quarter of CY2016. This Overview will have pertinent details about the anticipated acquisition strategy for the project, an acquisition timeline and an overview of significant changes to the requirements for the project, if any. This Overview will be disseminated ahead of the solicitation phase.
The Government anticipates a FY2016 award for IROC, however, further details about the acquisition timeline are not available at this time.
The response to the RFI for this Project was appreciated and participation by industry in market research activities is beneficial to strengthening the Government’s digital services and contracting solutions. So thanks very much for your continued involvement!
