About this file
This attachment is a printing specification document issued by the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) for bulk milk tank inspector decals as part of contract opportunity AG-2020-23. The document establishes detailed technical requirements for the production and delivery of printed decals measuring 3.75" by 2.5" in size. DATCP will provide a press-ready PDF file to the awarded vendor, who must deliver a high-resolution proof within three business days of receiving a purchase order. Delivery should occur as soon as possible after purchase order receipt to the DATCP DFS Section at 2811 Agriculture Drive, Madison, Wisconsin 53718. The contract contains no specific item quantity guarantees, and bids requiring minimum order quantities will be rejected.
The decals must be manufactured on white vinyl stock with a minimum 2.1 mil thickness and a PMS 186 flood coat, featuring black ink with a clear coat acrylic laminate finish. The adhesive must be permanent with a split backer and capable of adhering to semi-tractors for a minimum of 24 months while remaining non-fading and impervious to gasoline, road salt, and cleaning agents. All materials and workmanship must meet the highest quality standards per existing trade standards; rejection of inferior products may result in reprinting at the contractor's expense or acceptance with damage assessment. Each package or carton must be clearly labeled with product name, purchase order number, and quantity. The vendor shall not display any company logotype or brand name on the printed materials.
