About this file

This is a printing specifications attachment for the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) related to the procurement of Bulk Milk Tank Inspector Decals. The contract seeks printed decals measuring 3.75" x 2.5" to be produced on red vinyl stock with a 4 mil thickness and permanent adhesive with split backer. The decals will be printed with black ink and finished with a clear coat laminate. DATCP will provide a press-ready PDF file for artwork. The awarded vendor must submit a high-resolution proof within three business days of receiving a purchase order, with delivery desired as soon as possible thereafter. No minimum purchase quantity is guaranteed, and bids requiring minimum order quantities will be rejected. Delivery should be made to DATCP's DFS Section at 2811 Agriculture Drive, Madison, Wisconsin 53718, with delivery addressed to Kathy Roach.

The decals must adhere to semi-tractors for a minimum of 24 months while remaining non-fading and impervious to gasoline, road salt, and cleaning agents. All materials and workmanship must meet the highest quality standards in accordance with existing trade standards. DATCP reserves the right to reject any order or lot that does not meet quality specifications, requiring reprinting at the vendor's expense, or to accept inferior products with an assessment of damages if time constraints prevent remanufacturing. All packaging and cartons must be clearly identified with the product name, purchase order number, and quantity. Vendors are prohibited from displaying their logotype or firm brand name on DATCP printed materials.
