About this file
This document is an Addendum for an Invitation to Bid (ITB) issued by the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) for the NEFSH Reroof & Window Replacement project. The ITB seeks bids for the installation of a new commercial roof system and the removal and replacement of existing windows on multiple buildings located at the Northeast Florida State Hospital in MacClenny, Florida. Key details include a mandatory pre-bid conference scheduled for November 1, 2023, vendor substitution requests due by December 15, 2023, and the electronic bid submission deadline of January 29, 2024. The anticipated contract award posting date is February 20, 2024, with an anticipated effective date of March 1, 2024.
The addendum also includes updated technical specifications and drawings for the reroof and window replacement work. Aluminum windows from approved manufacturers are specified, with requirements for windborne-debris-impact-resistant insulating-glass units and thermally improved construction. Pricing terms, set-asides, and funding sources are not explicitly stated in the addendum, but this information may be available in the original ITB documentation.
