About this file

This is an addendum to an Invitation for Bids (IFB) issued by the City of Leesburg, Florida, for the replacement of approximately 3,500 linear feet of existing 12-inch thin-wall PVC water main with new 12-inch C900 PVC pipe along Bentley Road. The addendum, dated June 4, 2026, was prepared by Buyer Lissandra Kmoch and constitutes part of the IFB document. The addendum addresses four Request for Information submissions from interested bidders and clarifies project requirements including bore pit dimensions and locations (to be determined by the contractor as means and methods), bid bond submission procedures (clear copy of executed bond required with submittal), existing water main abandonment methodology (to be cut and capped), and striping replacement standards (to comply with FDOT Standard Index 711-001). All bidders must acknowledge receipt of this addendum on their Proposal Bid Form; if a bid form has already been submitted, bidders should revise their electronic submission to include the addendum acknowledgment.

The addendum requires submission of a clear copy of the executed bid bond with the proposal submittal and establishes that the submission of any bid constitutes acknowledgment of receipt and acceptance of the addendum terms. No pricing information, set-asides, award dates, or contract term details are addressed in this addendum document.
